Hangaren Summer: Bjarki (IS), Funeral Future, Gabriella Vergilov, Ctrls, Fruit DJ, Miss Puppy

We are back with our summer parties. This year running for 12 hours straight turning day time party into night with concerts and djs outdoor and indoor dance floors. There's plenty of cosy spots, a bonfire, bars and a food truck.

Raised amid a small community in rural Iceland, Bjarki’s influences lay far beyond the usual, tired old tropes of techno.
Bjarki rips through the rules and foundations of electronic music with ruthless abandon, producing his own, often absurdist take on the DNA of rave. His notorious live DJ sets integrate and tangle elements of techno, jungle, breaks and IDM, finding unparalleled energy and offbeat soul whenever there’s a pause for breath. In Bjarki’s world, there is room for both blistering gabber and dreamlike, transcendent ambience, two worlds sometimes crashing within moments.
Bjarki has admitted in the past he is obsessed with making music. And since his debut in 2015 there has been a lot of it - six albums and plenty of EPs, mostly on Nina Kraviz's трип, !K7, which he helped establish and his own bbbbbb label. From 2020 onwards, he has operated the Hellcat sub-label in conjunction with close friend and Polish rave queen, VTSS.

HANGAREN
Hangaren at Refshalevej 185 is an old hangar construction turned into a nightclub for electronic music and event space. Hangaren is located at a secluded green spot on Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen.
We are here to present the city's vibrant electronic music scene.
You will be treated with a heavy soundsystem by Funktion-One.
There is a cosy courtyard with chill-out possibility, a bonfire, big sky scenery from where you can watch the sunset, the stars and the sunrise. The bar serves organic beers, drinks at fair prices.
Our main purpose is to serve as a platform and inspiration for the cultural scene in Copenhagen
