Zeitgeist: Reloaded

Zeitgeist is back on Friday the 8th of December <3

We welcome you again at Basement CPH for our second event focusing on electronic music, art and the community shaped within this shared space.

This evening, we’re exploring various electronic genres; kicking off with a live concert followed by rising and established DJs from our local scene, alongside Parisian MZA (she/her) who is having her CPH debut.

We’re proud to present 𝗠𝗭𝗔 who has caught our attention through the past year by producing one jaw dropping track after the other. Her sound is jumpy and fresh with a twist of spice and space. She’s been busy playing clubs and festivals around Europe and recently got back from touring China. We feel very lucky to have her in Copenhagen this December.

On closing duty we have invited Copenhagen heavyweight 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲 to bring out the true basement experience. They’re known to be a crucial part of the Copenhagen techno sound; traveling the world with their infamous DJ sets and releasing forever deeply enthralling tracks. We’re beyond excited to have them on the line up for this evening.

We got entangled by 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗶 at his performance in March 23 and we desperately need to share the experience with you. Providing a sound that gives feelings of exquisite nostalgia, we’re happy to start this magical night with a concert from Angel.

With an absolute contagious energy and realness there’s no way 𝗗𝗝 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗗𝗔𝗥 could avoid getting our attention. Playing unforgettable sets at various events and festivals around Copenhagen, we had to invite them to shine upon us all and set fire to the floor with their mix of anything groovy, bouncy and feisty.

Zeitgeist resident and co-founder 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗶 will treat us in the late hours with their always sharp and hard hitting techno. Heating up the dance floor with deep rolling basslines and enchanting trance riffs revolutionizing the idea of a steamy rave.

Blessing us with a welcoming grounding set is our resident and co-founder 𝗗𝗝 𝟮𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘. Otherwise known for producing mythical, catchy trance and providing fast energetic sets, you will have the rare opportunity to catch the floating and melancholic side of 2LATE as they open the night in a slower deep manner.

𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗻: “Coming off age” is a photographic art project in which I have followed my friends, family and different love relations that have been part of my life for the last 11 years.

It is a photographic exploration that started when I was 15 years old that revolves around relations, beauty, intimacy – it is an unfiltered view of my closest.
