Sketchy Monday and Friends is an invite to discover and support Sketchy Monday, our lovely weekly gathering for artists, illustrators, graphic designers and others interested in drawing.

For tonight you will get the chance to draw with us for the first two hours of the evening, and then to bang your heads at the sound of FUMERA and HUMAN GROWTH, and finally we will dance at the tunes mixed by DJ FREDDY FARQUAAD
The proceeds will all be used to support Sketchy Monday, the bands and dj.

Fumera is a Copenhagen based psychedelic rock band. Their music moves in a smoky space where dream-like imagery and memories meet with the listener's imagination.

Something more about HUMAN GROWTH:
Human Growth are a rock band formed in Copenhagen Denmark in 2020 with brothers David and Peter Slusarski. They continue to rock in Copenhagen with a follow-up effort to their debut release coming out early-2022. Their sound is hard-hitting and charged with energy.

What the f*#@k is SKETCHY MONDAY?
Glad you asked.
Sketchy Monday is a weekly getalong, where people who love to draw and paint meet and share a nice evening being productive together.
Our usual meeting point is Kraftwerket (Valgårdsvej 2, in Valby) and our weekly gathering is on.. you guessed it: Mondays.

Beginners and pros - all are welcome!
As well as local Copenhageners, you will also find people from Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Romania, Turkey and a lot of other countries.

Sketchy Monday is non profit and it's for free for everyone! We are all volunteers and we like to keep it like that!
Drawing materials are quite expensive though and we do need to buy new stuff every now and then.
That's why we came up with the idea of throwing a party like SM & Friends! The money will be used to create a fund to buy materials and treats for our Monday guests.
