LEO PALAYENG
Leo PaLayeng is a Northern Uganda–born musician, producer, DJ, and the creator of Acholitronix, a hyper- fast electronic style (90–200+ BPM) rooted inAcholi/Luo musical traditions. Sampling indigenous instruments such as calabashes, drums, Luo harps, and thumb piano, he fuses raw acoustic textures with powerful electronic beats and synthesizers, forging a sound that is both ancestral and futuristic. A key figure in Northern Uganda’s contemporary music scene, PaLayeng has mentored many local artists and produced Otim Alpha’s “Gulu City Anthem” (Nyege Nyege Tapes, 2016), a landmark release in the region’s global recognition. His high-energy live sets have appeared at Unsound, Roskilde, WOMEX, Bluedot, Supernormal, and numerous festivals across Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Greece, and the UK. Working from past to present and re-animating traditional sound archives, Leo PaLayeng bridges Acholi/Luo sound worlds with high-energy electronics, defining a distinct sonic identity. Under the banner Acholitronix / LAKUBUKUBU, he has shaped a genre destined for dance-floor intensity and radical cultural re-imagining.

MAMBE – DJ SET
Ethnic-Bass from Copenhagen with roots in Colombia, Mexico & beyond. Mambe is a rapper, singer, and DJ bringing global bass, Latin rhythms, and electronic energy to the dance floor. Her sets are a wild fusion of cumbia, kuduro, dancehall, afrobeat, reggaeton, and heavy bass – a musical journey from Colombia to Angola to the Balkans and back. With releases like the album Kosmopolítēs (2019) and EP Sincretismo (2024), Mambe has performed at Roskilde Festival, WOMEX, Fusion Festival, Eurosonic, and more. She's shared stages with Celso Piña, Bomba Estéreo, and Dengue Dengue Dengue.
She sings and raps in Spanish, Swedish, Danish, and English – always with energy, groove, and a message.
