What does it sound like when a body heals? What does it feel like to find yourself again in all that chaos? Daliyah aka. Flavia Huarachi performs the album Distorción – a live extension of her debut album, released on June 15 on CRRNT Records. Here, music becomes ritual and a sonic documentation of surviving violence and trauma. The audience is invited into an immersive experience, where the music takes you through pain – and shows that there is a way forward.
With an ensemble of voices, acoustic and electronic instruments, tape, diary entries, and field recordings and dance, Daliyah creates a sound archive of fragmented self-narratives – sometimes tender, other times wild and raw. The evening is a space for presence, wonder, and courage. For listening inward and finding yourself in wholeness.

"The whole performance feels like a ritual in itself... a pathway to an ulterior world." – The Listener, Vilnius Jazz Festival
