The Outer Village I: Liminal State (LIVE) and EP release

Outer Village Audio invites to a new residency entitled The Outer Village @ Kraftwerket / Underwerket in Copenhagen.

Outer Village is an estate of electronic music producers with common grounds in pushing deep electronica. It’s a collective of producers with an experimental outlook inspired by alien grooves, ambivalent ambience, noise-infused soundscapes and distorted breakbeats.

The aim of The Village is to expand a network within local deep-end electronic music, highlighting live acts and producers testing out own productions. The network aims to create an organic community of like-minded souls and enjoyers in the alternate side of dance music and beyond.

For the first event we present Liminal State (UK / DK), who plays a full live set dwelling in the experimental side of bass music in between genres with influences spanning wide from UK beats to jazz. We release Liminal State's EP on the 28th of February, the day before this event, so his performance is also a showcase of new music from his self entitled EP. We highly advise to check out his repertoire of dreamy and glitchy soundscapes in between genres (and his EP on release).

We have invited Jam T (TAXI TRAX) to warm the field, so come early for a journey of development in gloomy rhythmics and blends of breakbeat styles at slower paces.

Also on the line-up are Outer Village natives LENZE, M-71 and Mindloader, who will showcase new music in diverse styles from deep drum and bass and breaks to techno.

Safe space and community in The Village

We strive to create a space for, at its core, music exploration and production for other like-minded individuals, who like us are soul searching in electronic music. At our events, safe space rules are in place: We strive to create a room for full freedom of expression, so take care of each other, be open minded, respect each other's personal spaces and let us know if anything occurs during the evening.
