Komponisten Lars Greve ombygger ALICE til et kæmpemæssigt instrument, hvor publikum og musikere både kan lytte og være med til at skabe musikken.

De fleste kender følelsen af at stå til en koncert og mærke hele mellemgulvet blive masseret af lyden. At opleve, at man er ét med lyden.
Det er resonans. Og den egenskab ved musikken bliver der skruet maksimalt op for, når Lars Greve ombygger koncertsalen på ALICE til et Resonerende Rum. Hensigten er at skabe en følelse af, at man som publikum befinder sig inde i en højttaler. Rummet bliver et stort instrument, som alle spiller på: Publikum og musikere er alle sammen udøvende.
NB: Der bliver spillet tre koncerter hhv. kl. 19:00, 20:30 og 22:00.
Der er et begrænset deltagerantal på 30 personer per koncert.
Ved billetkøb vælges der spilletidspunkt via billetlinket.
Teknisk benytter Resonerende Rum sig af små vibrerende enheder, der kan omdanne forskellige genstande til højttalere. På ALICE bliver der bygget et helt rum inde i rummet, som bliver aktiveret med sådanne vibrerende elementer langs sidevægge, endevægge og loft. Rummet vil fungere som ét stort koncertrum uden scene og stolerækker, som snurrer, skurrer, vibrerer og resonerer.
OM LARS GREVE OG RESONERENDE RUM
Lars Greve er træblæser, komponist og projektleder med soloværkerne ’Breidablik’, ’Solhverv’ og ’Dødedans’ bag sig. En rød tråd i hans virke er både oplagte og umage samarbejder med et bredt udsnit af musikere fra den internationale musikscene og på tværs af kunstformer og organisationer.
Resonerende Rum er en nystiftet selvejende institution med Lars Greve som kunstnerisk leder, som er udpeget som specialensemble af Statens Kunstfond fra 2021-23. Resonerende Rum driver en række projektsamarbejder med flere aktører, der også arbejder med ny musik. Således er samarbejdet med Gong Tomorrow, DEDI og Holstebro Kommune opstået.
MEDVIRKENDE MUSIKERE
I Resonerende Rum foregår der kulturudvekslingsprojekt mellem LARS GREVE og MAURICE LOUCA med støtte fra det Dansk-Egyptiske Dialoginstitut, DEDI. Maurice Louca er en central figur på Egyptens vitale scene for eksperimentalmusik med to roste soloalbum med sig. Derudover kan man opleve den prisbelønnede pianist, komponist og bandleder JACOB ANDERSKOV, som er kendt for at udvide vokabulariet for moderne jazz. Jacob Anderskov har gennemført et samarbejdsforløb i Resonerende Rum med unge musikskoleelever fra HOLSTEBRO MUSIKSKOLE. Endelig vil komponist, lydkunstner og performer SØS GUNVER RYBERG trække den fysiske fornemmelse af clubbing i nye retninger med sit afsæt i techno og elektronisk musik.

Gong Tomorrow 2021 handler om social lytning. At lytte er den ultimative empatiske handling. Lytning kan skabe skælv i vores selvforståelser og åbne vores forståelseshorisonter. Under otte dages festival fejrer Gong Tomorrow 2021 musik, der udvider bevidstheden og tegner konturerne af en anden verden.
Gong Tomorrow er en årlig festival for ny eksperimenterende musik og lydkunst. Den præsenterer koncerter i ekstraordinære rammer, musikalske eksperimenter, genremøder, samtaler og workshops samt tværæstetiske samarbejder mellem lokale såvel som internationale kunstnere. Gong Tomorrow 2021 finder sted fra den 3. til den 10. september på en række forskellige københavnske koncertsteder i samarbejde med ALICE cph.

Composer Lars Greve reconstructs the venue at ALICE into a gigantic instrument in which the audience and the musicians will be able to participate as music listeners as well as music creators. Exploring the physical phenomenon of resonance, Resonerende Rum will invite the participants to become a part of the musical experience.
Gong Tomorrow is an annual festival for new experimental music and sound art, featuring concerts in extraordinary settings, musical experiments, genre crossovers, talks and workshops, and cross-aesthetic meetings between local as well as international artists. Gong Tomorrow 2021 takes place from 3rd to 10th September in various locations across Copenhagen in cooperation with ALICE cph.
