Totentanz and Husets Biograf presents:
'A Beautiful Place'
the new documentary about Lebanon Hanover.
When the duo performed at our club in 2017 they were already shooting for the stars and they have not slowed down since, becoming a global phenomenon selling out venues across Europe, America, Asia and South America. The trailblazing duo has proven to be one of the most influential post-punk groups of our time, a driving force behind the current scene revival with their uniquely somber and minimalistic, yet luringly infectious sound.
The documentary follows Lebanon Hanover on tour, getting close to the members William Maybelline and Larissa Iceglass, while also featuring performances from Bristol, London, Paris and Berlin. Directed by Isolde Woudstra, a close friend of the band and the photographer behind a lot of their most iconic photos, who also is a friend of Totentanz.
Apart from the new documentary, Totentanz DJ's will be filling Husets Biograf with both visuals and tunes from the DIY beginning of the current Darkwave, Post-Punk and Coldwave scene, that used to fill basements 10 years ago, but has now grown to a global movement
