Jet Trio udforsker det klassiske saxofon trio format. Dets rene form, hvor indflydelsen fra store navne inden for jazz og improviseret musik er tydelig, blandes sømløst med synthesizere og trommemaskiner. Den svingende interaktion og den konstante spænding og afspænding mellem musikerne fremkalder en række oaser, der former trioens lyd i øjeblikket.

Dansk/argentinske komponist og guitarist Mark Solborg og hans TUNGEMÅL projekt er optaget af den elektriske guitar som stemme i en nutidig kammermusikalsk sammenhæng. Med dette omfattende projekt ønsker Solborg at udfordre og undersøge den intime koncertoplevelse samt udvikle metoder og værktøjer til det skabende arbejde med denne. En udvikling, nuancering og bevidstgørelse af den moderne guitar i samspil med akustiske instrumenter, og de rum musikken opføres i.
Hvordan taler vi musikalsk - alene og med andre - med forskellige sprog? Solborg søger at undersøge, illustrere og skabe opmærksomhed omkring den kontinuerlige mellemmenneskelige debat. En samtale der bliver stadig vigtigere hvis vi skal være i stand til at løse de problemer vi står over for som art og samfund.
Denne aften undersøger Solborg, Turcerova og Toldam trioformatet og nye værker i et åbent eksperimentarium.

Jet Trio explores the classic saxophone trio format. Its pure form, where the influence of major figures in jazz and improvised music is clearly present, is seamlessly mixed with synthesizers and drum machines. The fluctuating interaction and the constant tension and release between the musicians evoke a series of oases, shaping the trio’s sound in the moment.

Danish/Argentinian composer and guitarist Mark Solborg and his TUNGEMÅL project are preoccupied with the electric guitar as a voice in a contemporary chamber music context. With this comprehensive project, Solborg wants to challenge and explore the intimate concert experience and develop methods and tools for creative work with it. A development, nuancing and awareness of the modern guitar in interaction with acoustic instruments and the spaces in which the music is performed.
How do we speak musically – alone and with others – using different languages? Solborg seeks to explore, illustrate and raise awareness of the ongoing interpersonal debate. A conversation that is becoming increasingly important if we are to be able to solve the problems we face as a species and as a society. This evening, Solborg, Turcerova and Toldam explore the trio format and new works in an open experimentarium.
