Ceremony for Presence: A quadrophonic concert for strings and super long tape loops

Date

Wednesday 11th of June

Time

17:00 to 17:30

Ceremony for Presence is a quadraphonic concert that blends the ethereal qualities of strings with the hypnotic repetition of super long tape loops.
Featuring tape loops by Anton Friisgaard and live strings performed by the trio Halvcirkel, this concert unfolds as a ceremony where the audience is invited to attune their senses and immerse themselves in the present.
A single, expansive tape loop resonates throughout the performance, serving as an ‘Om’: A spiritual and sonic anchor.
Halvcirkel's strings weave in and out of this loop, guiding listeners on an intuitive and improvised musical journey.
As the performance progresses, the strings will be live-looped, enhancing the ritualistic atmosphere and emphasizing the connection to the here and now.
Throughout the ceremony, audience members are encouraged to move freely within the space, exploring their surroundings and shaping their own personal experience.
We invite participants to engage not just as passive listeners but as active participants in a unique auditory experience, exploring the dimensions of presence.
✨Tickets are free.
🌙Ticket registration starts in May.
