_______________
BÉCHEAU/THOMSEN
Prune Bécheau is a virtuoso violinist with a peculiarly curious approach to music. She lives in the countryside in the Dordogne, France, where she organizes an annual festival for, among other things, experimental music art. She often plays solo, involving amplification, composing music for the excellent project Urs Graf Consort and touring with portable church organs.
Asger Thomsen is a bassist and composer living in Copenhagen, Denmark. He works primarily in modern improvised music. With a physical, detail-oriented approach and a rich palette of sounds - often enhanced by the use of unconventional techniques, he aims for contrast and dynamic momentum in his music. He leads projects such as Autolysis, The Moms, Perfect Volume, Litterjug and a solo project.
This concert is their first as a duo.
BOYS CRY
Boys Cry is a duo of Italian electronic musician Gianluca Elia and Polish drummer Szymon Gasiorek, both based in Copenhagen. When performing together, the drums are amplified with contact microphones and connected to Elia's no-input mixer, which he is playing alongside Supercollider software.
Entrance: 50 kr.
