EDITION #1: Wedding + Kjell Tone + Camilla Lind & Heva Vaupel

EDITION #1 is the first evening of the collaboration between Wedding & Kjell Tone; where experimental music will be simply presented. More acts will join soon, and we’re excited to open doors to new sounds.

Wedding:

After many blurry talks about making a music project together, Kristian Alexander and Kristoffer Bech finally made it happen. Both have roots in the underground music scene, and are now experimenting in a more electronic direction. What has so far come out of it is difficult to put in a box. It can be clubby, it can be sentimental, it can be banging loud. In the live constellation, Wedding is joined by amazing drummer Alexander Vitus and rave queen Susanne Mouritsen, aka ‘Xuri’. This will be their debut show in CPH.

Kjell Tone:

Kjell Tone is the new collaborative project by Isidore De Souza (aka Margos) and John Cleworth. Their work method merges the analog and digital worlds through solely using unconventional synthesis techniques. Their sound is disruptive and seeks to dissolve notions of reality around us.

Camilla Lind & Heva Vaupel presents: “PLAYTIME”

On set, we meet a story of lovers in grief, within chaotic patterns of seeking the love they share. Although, some obstacles will never render its presence. Meanwhile we follow a venue preparing for its opening night, even though it is still under construction.

PLAYTIME is everything it is not. It is fiction upon fiction, but never not real. It’s cheap and glamorous. With stadium-feelings and lost dreams in no-wave, PLAYTIME moves in and out of love for teasing and love for show.

PLAYTIME is a surreal musical taking place in part movie set and part venue, merging performance, concert and installation made by choreographer and artist Camilla Lind and musician and artist Heva Vaupel.
