XENON RESIDENCY er et koncept, hvor Huset giver udvalgte kunstnere mulighed for at overtage Xenon på 4. sal en uge op til deres show, så de sammen kan skabe en unik tværkunstnerisk performance. Deres residency udmunder sig i en eller flere performances sidst på ugen, hvor de har mulighed for at blande flere kunstarter og kulturelle udtryk fx kunstinstallationer, scenografi, visuals og lyddesign.

Kunstneren Maya SB og komponisten M. Rexen har startet et tværkunstnerisk samarbejde der har til formål at tryllebinde publikum med et lys og animations værk omkring Rexen's dybe stemme og sangskrivningunivers.

På scenen kan man opleve Sasha Agranov, rusisk/isrealsk cellist kendt fra samarbejde med Patti Smith samt den engelske sanger og musiker Henry Gibbs kendt fra Mellah og M. Rexen band.

Bemærk. SB & REXEN invitere dagen før, altså den 24. august - til fernisering på værket, hvor de inviterede vil kunne få et blik bag kulissen og opleve et lille uddrag af musikken spillet af Rexen og hans musikere. Selve performancen finder sted den 25. august.

XENON RESIDENCY is a concept, where HUSET gives selected artists the opportunity to take over our black box stage Xenon on the 4th floor for a week and within that time create a cross-artistic performance together.

.Their residency culminates in one or more performances at the end of the week, where they have the opportunity to mix several art forms and cultural expressions such as art installations, scenography, visuals and sound design.
These performances can only be experienced this one time. Don’t miss out!

The artist Maya SB and the composer M. Rexen have started a cross-artistic collaboration that aims to enchant the audience with a light and animated work around Rexen's deep voice and songwriting universe.

On stage you can experience Sasha Agranov, a Russian / Israeli cellist known from collaboration with Patti Smith and also the English singer and musician Henry Gibbs known from Mellah and M. Rexen band.

On August 24th (the day before the big performance) SB & REXEN also invites you to an opening, where those invited will be able to get a look behind the scenes and experience a small excerpt of the music played by Rexen and his musicians. The actual performance will take place on August 25th.
