ENGLISH BELOW

Join us for a poetic night where we hand over the microphone to the minority voices in Balsalen, Huset KBH. ❤️

We have invited different minorityvoices to share their texts with us, and the participants are gonna be a mix of members of the writing community WRITING IS MORE THAN WORDS (read more below), and people who signed up via open call. All you have to do is lean back, close your eyes and listen!

There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for sale at the bar.

The event is a cooperation between Literature Salon Esther and Jewish Information Center.

Note that the texts can vary between danish and english, and are mainly gonna be in danish.

WRITING IS MORE THAN WORDS

Is a community of writers.

The group officially started in 2020 after a workshop for minorities in Copenhagen.

The passion for writing and the will to write made us continue writing together.

Writing can’t be forced.

Writing is not a job, it’s a necessity.

Writing can change the world.
