Matthew Dear is a DJ, a dance-music producer, an experimental pop artist and a bandleader. Or Audion. He has made numerous albums to critical acclaim, toured and supported Depeche Mode on their European stadium dates and co-founded both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. Matthew is a producer and remixer of the likes of The xx, Charlotte Gainsbourg, DJ Koze, Spoon, Hot Chip, Dubfire, Joris Voorn, Tegan & Sara, Daniel Avery, The Postal Service and Chemical Brothers; he’s made mixes for the Fabric mix series, DJ Kicks and Get Physical’s Body Language. The multi-artist is finally in Copenhagen and joins local connoisseurs Kim Kemi and Waqar in Black Box while Phase 5 (special house set), Iris Pertegaz from Spain and our very own Rexxx M and Thyregod perform in Red Box.
