CC Grand Opening: Light & Space

CC INVITERER TIL ÅRETS STØRSTE UDSTILLINGSÅBNING

Oplev storslåede værker fra lyskunstens mestre, når CC inviterer til åbningsfest for udstillingen Light & Space. Alle er velkommen og vi fejrer åbningen til langt ud på natten med gratis bobler, live performance og landets bedste dj’s.

For første gang i Europa bliver det muligt at opleve James Turrell, Robert Irwin og Helen Pashgian, der skabte lyskunsten i 1970’erne, side om side med samtidskunstnerne som Olafur Eliasson, Jeppe Hein og Anish Kapoor, der er inspireret af den banebrydende kunstbevægelse.

Den enestående udstilling er CCs største til dato. Den tæller 27 kunstnere og strækker sig over alle kunstcentrets fem udstillingshaller, hvor den blænder op for en verden af lys, interaktive værker og gigantiske installationer i årets mørkeste måned. Light & Space skal opleves med egen krop og tilbyder en unik sanselig oplevelse, der vil drage publikum mod uendelige horisontlinjer og følelsen af at blive omfavnet af farver.

Vi glæder os til at byde velkommen, når dørene åbnes torsdag d. 2. december kl. 17.00 til en festlig aften med kunst i det helt store format, selvlysende drinks, lækker mad og musik af Malika Mahmoud, Mira Campau, Elias Gozal, Metea, TBA.

Udstillingen vil blive præsenteret af CCs direktør, Marie Nipper, og flere af de deltagende kunstnere vil være til stede på aftenen.

I anledning af åbningen er der fri entré og vi byder på gratis bobler til de første 500 gæster.

CC INVITES YOU TO THE LARGEST EXHIBITION OPENING OF THE YEAR

Experience magnificent works of art made by the masters of light art when CC invites you to the opening party for the exhibition Light & Space. Everybody is welcome to join us when we celebrate well into the night with free drinks, live performances, and the best DJs in the country.

For the first time in Europe, you can experience artworks by James Turell, Robert Irwin, and Helen Pashgian, who are considered to be the founders of light art in the 1970’s, side by side with contemporary artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Jeppe Hein and Anish Kapoor, who are inspired by the groundbreaking art movement.

The unique exhibition is CC’s largest yet. It counts 27 artists and reaches through all five exhibition halls. Here CC is turned into worlds of light filled with interactive artworks and gigantic installations in the darkest month of the year. Light & Space must be experienced with your own body and offers a unique sensual experience, drawing the audience towards infinite horizons and a feeling of being embraced by colours.

We look forward to welcoming you when we open the doors on Thursday December 2nd at 17.00 for a festive evening with art in large formats, luminescent drinks, delicious food, and music by Malika Mahmoud, Mira Campau, Elias Gozal, Metea, TBA.

The exhibition will be presented by CC’s director, Marie Nipper, and this evening several of the exhibiting artists will be present.

On the opening, we offer free entrance and free drinks for our first 500 guests.
