On January 14, the venue Vega presents the immersive installation "SREAM" by Simon Littauer, Optika, Gianluca Elia and Domenico Villani - a cross-media work consisting of an AI-powered audiovisual total installation at Vega, as well as a web-based entry to interact with the work.
-
AI has truly come to the artistic agenda in recent years, and opinions about what the new advancements bring are divided. The group behind Sream is trying to focus on the new possibilities for expression and interaction that the technologies bring.
Sream is a participatory work that allows individual influences to merge into a collective influence on the visual and auditory expression of the physical installation. The individual choices and preferences become a single data point - a single echo chamber - that determines the form and expression of the work.
Sream is a proposal for the future of streaming services. Music and animation are continuously developed by artificial intelligence based on guest feedback. The difference between "artist" and "audience" is blurred.
-
The artists behind Sream are musician Simon Littauer, programmers Gianluca Elia and Domenico Villani and the animation collective Optika consisting of Denise Garbov, Niels Otto, Kristoffer Moth.
-
The installation will be open between 1pm - 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays in the weekends of 14/15 and 21/22 January.
An Artist Talk will be held with the artists behind the project on January 21st at 1:30 pm, where everyone is welcome.
It is recommended to bring a smartphone to interact with the work.
Entrance through Lille Vega, Enghavevej 40, 1674 København.
