Dr Bongiorno returns to the sacred halls of VSA!

For the third edition in our favorite club, we invited two key actors of Europe's underground scene.

Introducing our first guest : RESOM
Nadine doesn't commit to a musical focus or an artistic source of
inspiration, let alone a linear story. Her sets are an expression of organic diversity, emotional spaces and atmospheric energy. It's all about resonance, feedback, depth, transparency and honesty, connection and shadows.

Invaluable experience with the Leipzig based homo elektrik Kollektiv as well as from her past cultural agency option music was just as much a part of her as a ghostly sense for moods and the momentum on the dancefloor. Beside dance floor orientated events she also co-curates the talk series „the amplified kitchen“, an event concept that expands the context of the club in terms of content, organises DJ workshops and is a long term mentor for Spoon DJ workspace.

Our second guest is Brussel based WALRUS.
Recently penned by Resident Advisor as “one of Belgium’s most exciting locals”, Walrus is a quixotic DJ and
producer hailing from Brussels that revels in idiosyncratic club music.
His sets are carefully crafted assaults on what club music is often perceived to be. Walrus is not afraid to
unbalance and dislocate his audience, confronting people with his definition of intent, groove and musical space,
building up a quirky tension that is as serious as it is open-minded. He uses the power of imagination to hold back
the night, to charm motorways and to surf on beta waves.
His record label Basic Moves is an adventurous journey through the outer limits of house, techno and electro. Fresh or old tracks, current or unreleased gems, the Basic Moves imprint rephrases sounds and influences spanning multiple generations while keeping an outsider’s spirit at heart.
Walrus spends his time away from the stage putting in hours of studio work, he used to help out the legendary
Brussels record shop Dr. Vinyl and now takes care of the second hand section at Crevette Records, adhering to a
relentless routine of searching for new, exciting music.

This is a big task to handle all by ourselves, so we kindly ask everyone to keep their eyes and ears open for bad and inappropriate behavior around the club. If you see or experience any harassment and/or unwanted attention, please
DO NOT hesitate to contact any of our staff or security with your issue.
Our guests comfort and well-being is our highest priority and no issue is too small for us to take serious.
If the discomfort is real to you, it is real to us.
NO PHONES ON OUR DANCEFLOORS
Our space is a place for freedom of expression without the all-seeing eye of social media, therefore photos and videos are not allowed inside our space. Due to this, we demand that everyone leave all cameras, Instagram, Snapchat etc. in the wardrobe. Breaking this rule will result in an early trip home.
Furthermore, if you are on the dance floor, please refrain from activity on your phone, we make the dance floor for dancing, not for updating yourself on your latest Facebook feed or checking out your new Tinder matches. If you need to use your phone, please go do it in the lobby, lounge or at least not in the middle of a moving floor. It kills the vibe.
