For twenty years, Ben Chasny has released music under the name Six Organs of Admittance, and in that time, his sound has spanned from being hushed and acoustic to droning, meditative, and deeply mysterious.

Six Organs of Admittance is currently on tour with his two latest albums. ‘Time is Glass’, one of the two, was released in April last year and is the result of Chasny’s return to his home state of North Carolina. The album, which has been given the wonderfully evocative genre labels “rural-industrial-psych” and “ecosystem goth,” demonstrates his ability to create poetry with simple means.
