Frigjort and Not Your Habibi are teaming up to bring you a night of both live musik from the Egyptian and Kurdish duo Abadir & Hogir, who brought an already hot Gloria stage to the boiling point at last years Roskilde Festival, as well as DJ sets by Mamdouh313, Radio Marrakech and 3asal who will give you a taste of what the intersection of Sweden and MENA has to offer.

ABADIR produces spirited electronic music that is hard to lock down to one catagory, blending experimental, club, and ambient influences with the rhythms of drum and bass, jungle, footwork, and juke, alongside Arabic vocals and percussion. His 2022 album
Mutate on SVBKVLT exemplifies this global, intense sound. Joining him on stage, Turkish percussionist HOGIR brings dynamic energy, drawing from Middle Eastern, Indian, Japanese, Kurdish, and European traditions with instruments like the Erbane, Darbuka, and Bendir. Together, they create a live performance that is impossible to stand still to, powerful, and joyfull, adding a unique live dimension to Abadir's beautiful bangers.
