We're thrilled to announce a fresh edition of Academeia, brimming with unexpected and inspiring ideas!

For this edition, we’re teaming up with a truly unique festival set just two hours from Madrid, near Toledo, in the stunning landscapes surrounding the village of Valdeverdeja.

Refractor Festival is a two-day open-air celebration of psychedelic sounds in the heart of Madrid’s countryside. Organized by the local collective Organic Signs, the festival’s first two editions have featured incredible artists like High Future, Sybil, Marius Bø, Bambi, Spekki Webu, K.O.P. 32, Gabriola, and A Strange Wedding, alongside beloved local talents Parallax, Emilia Grima, and Jan Swam.

Now, Refractor is heading to Copenhagen in collaboration with ACD, bringing a cutting-edge lineup designed to open entirely new wormholes through sound.

🌷- Harald Uunk’s debut album on Omen Wapta, Unseen, is an immersive, contemplative trip through the forest. The Dutch DJ/Producer has crafted the record off the back of his experiences in nature and his immediate surroundings. The output is a reflection of the energies around him and the result is a spatiotemporal play. We are extremely honored to welcome him for this collaborative project.

🌷- Spanish artist and label manager of Organic Signs, a hybrid platform and record label operating in Barcelona and Madrid. This project ranges from dancefloor rhythms to experimental atmospheres, including hybrid sets, with live instruments and a multi-genre sound discourse that crosses dub melodies, techno, breaks, goa or rave across the whole range of bpms.

🌷- Expect full groove, hypnotic vibes and quality music from the head of Backhaus Records Berlin Bekkler, that has already joined us before and proved his ability to connect with the crowd.

🌷- Beyond a stellar DJ, Martin is a key figure in the Copenhagen electronic music scene, co-running the Axces Recordings label and Proton Records, a beloved vinyl store in the heart of Norrebro. He has been with us many times in the past and has graced us with unparalleled sets.
