We are thrilled to invite you to join us for Kunst Vernissage at Specialefestivalen 2024!
Kunst Vernissage / Art Opening Night is a multinational, multidisciplinary group art exhibition organised as part of Specialefestivalen 2024!
Specialefestivalen is a thesis festival, dedicated to engaging and supporting students, offering them a vibrant platform to showcase their research to a wider audience.
The exhibition features works created by early-career artists and non-academically trained artists, working with performance art / short films / animations, sculpture / site-specific installation, and/or an unexpected hybrid of these mediums.
The featured artworks reflect this year’s festival themes: Future of Work, Sustainability, Biology and Health, AI and Immersive Technology, Inclusion, Society, and Democracy.
At the exhibition, you’ll find each artist’s interpretation of these themes, you’ll be able to meet and talk with the artists about their artistic practices and works, while being able to drip-in and out of fascinating thesis presentations.
