Krautrock Jukebox er Ignacio Cordobas vanvittige drøm. En beroligende, loopende, selvsvingende fantasi ledet af Ignacios og Søren Højs trommer, der driver et stort, enormt, kæmpe stort band med alle tænkelige instrumenter, der ønsker at deltage i denne PRiMi Studio Night workshop. En Motorik Medley af improvisation, eksperimenter, samspil og ‘fuck-all’ over et tæppe af 4/4, rystet af Ignacio og Sørens trommestikker. Hvis du har et instrument og har lyst til at være groovy og weird, så meld dig til! Ignacio kommer med grooves og akkorder og vil tildele soloer til denne absurde über-jam!

4/4 gange 4 millioner, 4 billioner, 4 trillioner…

Workshoppen er kl. 16:00: Ignacio medbringer 4 grooves, som så mange musikere som muligt kan jamme over. Han vil vise grooves baseret på loops, som man kan spille over uendeligt, og alle kan finde på et lille arrangement til dem.

Ignacio vil spille trommer og loops og styre dynamikken og instrumenterne til solo/mute/groove.

Alle instrumenter er velkomne. Det bliver ubarmhjertigt, hurtigt og højt, så du har brug for din egen forstærkning.

Krautrock Jukebox is the mad dream of Ignacio Córdoba. A soothing, looping, self-oscillating fantasy led by the drums of Ignacio and Søren Høj, propulsing into infinity a big, huge, humongous band of any instrument imaginable and imaginative that wants to join this Studio Night workshop. A Motorik Medley of improvisation, experimentation, interplay and fuck-all over a blanket of 4/4 shaken by the drumsticks of Ignacio and Søren. If you have an instrument and wanna get groovy and weird sign up! Ignacio will bring the grooves, call the changes and solos on this absurd über-jam.

4/4 times 4 millions, 4 billions, 4 trillions…

The workshop is at 16:00: Ignacio brings 4 grooves for the largest amount of players to jam on. He shows the grooves based around loops to play on and on and on and on, everyone comes up with a little arrangement for them. We try them all both grooving and improvising.

Live Ignacio will play drums and loops and direct the dynamics and instruments to solo/mute/groove.

All instruments welcome. It will be relentless, fast and loud so you need your own amplification.

PRiMi’s studio nights are an alternative to the regular concert evenings. Each evening is curated by different artist and the program can contain workshops, performances, jam sessions etc. Entrance is always ‘pay what you want’.
