Som den ene halvdel af bandet Kogekunst har Oskar Krusell siden 2014 leget med grænserne for, hvordan skramlet popmusik kan lyde.
Hans musik kombinerer elementer af alternativ folk, præget af personlige og poetiske dansksprogede tekster. På én gang intimt og udbasunerende! Oskar er ikke typen, der holder igen. Men når kvaliteten er helt i top, tager man gerne imod!
Solodebuten ”OSKAR” udkom i 2023 og blev modtaget med rosende ord, hvor han blandt nævnes som en indieficeret arvtager efter salig Povl Dissing. Hvor stemmen er helt i front i jagten på poetiske sandheder.
Oskar er i fuldt sving med at brygge på nye sange, som han er klar til at servere i Musikcaféen. Her lover han – med egne ord – ”inderlig folkemusik, avantgarderock, fucked-up højskolesang og polyrytmisk miskmask”.

ENGLISH:
As one half of the band Kogekunst, Oskar Krusell has been pushing the boundaries of what scrappy pop music can sound like since 2014.
His music combines elements of alternative folk, infused with personal and poetic Danish-language lyrics. At the same time intimate and in-your-face! Oskar is not one to hold back, but when the quality of his songs is top-notch, you’re more than happy to embrace it.
His solo debut, “OSKAR”, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim, noticing a more melodic approach to his occasionally ramshackle tunes. Here, his voice takes center stage in the pursuit of some poetic and twisted truths.
Oskar is currently working on new songs, which he is ready to present at Musikcaféen. In his own words, you’re in for a mix of “heartfelt folk music, avant-garde rock, messed-up ballads and polyrhythmic mishmash.”
