ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Your Data is a collaborative exhibition between CTRLS (he(him) and Asia Dabrowska (she/her). Opening with a reception to mark the release of Ctrls's electro exploring EP of the same name and continuing for 14 days showcasing current digital works of Dabrowska.
Asia is a visual designer whose work is greatly inspired by the boundaries between the real and virtual world and how the two intertwine. Her work often takes place in a futuristic environment to evoke a conceptual experience. Her creative style is heavily inspired by modernist art and architecture, particularly brutalism and functionalism, mainly by how the elements are combined and presented in a physical space. In her video made for CTRLS’s Your Data EP, Asia uses visual and 3D techniques to simulate the behaviour of the mind in an erratic and disturbed state. Ultimately, “Sleepkillers" explores how the virtual world can be used to express experiences in the real world.

ABOUT THE OPTIKA EXHIBITION PROGRAMME
We use our space at Rørholmsgade in Copenhagen to facilitate creative sessions and exhibitions. We open our doors to various visionary people from different creative fields and share our curiosities and passions with our community.
We want to offer our exhibition space to interesting artists and have planned a 2022 programme with 13 artists, hosting a show, event or exhibition at least once a month.
Look at www.optika.studio/studio-space for the complete calendar.
