ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Amplexus
/amˈplɛksəs/
noun
Embracing, Hug, Surrounding, Encircling
Amplexus is an exploration of relationships, loving and losing.
What at some point in time felt eternal will inevitably end up as distant memories.
A love letter to the frailty of the human experience.
David Kvien (he/him), formally an Interactive Designer from The Danish School of Media and Journalism, is a digital artist who has since specialised in CG animation and simulations. Shaped by his time in Japan where he worked as a Technical Director for award winning art direction beautique Onesal Studio, he often draws inspiration from Japanese culture and the surreal. Now working as a creative at London based studio DBLG he is looking to expand his arsenal with a focus on interactive and real-time experiences.

ABOUT THE OPTIKA EXHIBITION PROGRAMME
We use our space at Rørholmsgade in Copenhagen to facilitate creative sessions and exhibitions. We open our doors to various visionary people from different creative fields and share our curiosities and passions with our community.
We want to offer our exhibition space to interesting artists and have planned a 2022 programme with 13 artists, hosting a show, event or exhibition at least once a month.
Look at www.optika.studio/studio for the complete calendar.
