KUNE pres. Vessel Unfolded

After three editions of KUNE Festival, we realized one year of wait between events is too much to handle. We want to reconnect with you, continue our friendship and create more spaces and moments of belonging throughout the year.

To scratch this itch, we're taking over Hangaren for a full weekend! Two nights in a row that will create one daring journey unfolding through two of our main festival stages: Space and Vessel.

For our second night, we're thrilled to introduce you to the French duo X-Wave.

To start out the night, we have KUNEs very own Vika! As head of volunteers, Vika is no foreigner for most of them who joined the KUNE Festival community, but Vika is also an aspiring DJ with a style that reflects her personality in many ways; Curious, joyful and love of electronic dance music. Besides roaming local decks Vika recently started her own show “zvuk” at Depot Radio with guest DJs showcasing some of their recent finds. “Put on your favourite dance shoes.”

🛸 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀
With his musical upbringing rooted in the Norwegian Insomnia festival we present Nephentes! It’s hypnotic, dansable and will bring the northern disco lights to shine when Nephentes mix contemporary queer artists, faggy electro house with dark divine vocals haunted by the 80s. Make sure to catch this local and maybe a bit under-the-radar artist, as you won’t regret it.

🛸 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗺
SHAM is no foreigner for those who roam the Copenhagen techno and trance scene, and it’s with anticipated pleasure we present her for this Vessel night. This time Sham will make sure we’ll be guided into the darker chapter of the night for those of you who dare to explore the whole adventure.

Get ready for a 4-hour journey by the french duo X-Wave! Based around the renowned club Macadam, in Nantes, we’ve summed the two DJs for their Copenhagen debut in the cockpit of Vessel. Fast-paced energy in the realm of dreamy and atmospheric trance these guys will make sure that you won't touch the ground and see the daylight before the music ends. We can’t wait!

This event seeks to co-create together with you all an intimate space rooted in a deep appreciation for Diversity in all its forms. A familiar, yet novel place where contradictions, paradoxes and opposites come to meet and melt together in a vibrant flow of consciousness. A flow meant to nurture the seed of change in all of us, gifting life to a more inclusive, more profound version of reality.

Hangaren at Refshalevej 185 is an old hangar construction turned into a nightclub for electronic music and event space. Hangaren is located at a secluded green spot on Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen.

Hangaren wants every guest to feel safe and free at our parties.
