Dear friends, in 2021 we are inviting you to the second edition of KUNE festival.
We are returning to our favorite island for 72 hours of performances, exhibitions and workshops showcasing a variety of house, electro and techno music as well as some of our favorite art.
A pocket of creativity out at sea, this new chapter will bring together over 50 artists from across Scandinavia, as well as a handful of international ones, in a celebration of the local underground culture and its values - 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲.
We're looking forward to co-create together with you all an immersive 4-day experience centered around a vision for a common space where we can all explore, experience, learn and express ourselves freely and safely. Four different music stages, art galleries, installations and workshops will place the focus on the importance of togetherness in our lives through a transformative, holistic experience for mind and body alike.
After more than a year spent within, it is now time to reach outside, to reconnect with the 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 and appreciate the value of 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 in our world. By understanding, accepting and respecting our differences, we can develop the much needed profundity and closeness within our society, enabling ourselves to heal and work towards a better version of our reality.
A reality in which 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, regardless of the shape or form it comes in - it being a matter of sexuality, race or ethnicity, cultural or socio-economic background, gender, age or religion - thrives, supported by the community from which it sprouts. This 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 must be rooted in respect, allowing us to create a safer space for everyone attending the festival.
Respect your𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳, respect the 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, respect the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Let us celebrate our 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 through dance, music and joy.
