● Copenhagen Clarinet Choir ●

Marcus Behrens for Salt Peanuts
Margaux Oswald - piano
Jesper Zeuthen - saxofon

● Copenhagen Clarinet Choir ●
Copenhagen Clarinet Choir will play a reworking of Carolyn Goodwin's work 'Compus Corpus', which was first commissioned for the Organ Sound Art Festival in 2022.
Inspired by the church organ at Koncertkirken on Blågards Plads, Compus Corpus is a reanimation of the instrument through the congregated body of the ensemble. Just as the church organ is a composite of pipes and resonators, Copenhagen Clarinet Choir breathes life into a collective human organ through the anthropomorphism of its parts.
Carolyn Goodwin is a woodwind player and composer, and the leader of Copenhagen Clarinet Choir, with whom she released the album 'Organism' in 2022. The ensemble has since collaborated with composers such as Marcela Lucatelli (BR/DK), Greta Eacott (UK/DK), Amina Hocine (SE) and Anders Lauge Meldgaard, with whom they will release the album 'Jeux D'eau' in November 2025.
This performance of Compus Corpus is made possible through support from Art Music Denmark's GENSTART project.

● Oswald / Zeuthen ●
Margaux Oswald, a promising Swiss pianist and the legendary Danish saxophonist, Jesper Zeuthen share a special bond with music: united by a common ideal of harmony, they venture into the world of free improvisation. The duo's impressive concerts, in which Zeuthen's melodic fragments are enveloped by Oswald's resonant blocks of sound, have generated enthusiasm among lovers of improvised music.
They have released their first album “Magnetite" on Cleanfeed records in 2023.
“A Swiss pianist can play an infinite number of notes without it being too many. Her determination is a perfect complement to the thunderous Zeuthen, because he doesn't hold back when he plays. Although not as young, he can still fill the entire church vault and embrace the audience with a mixture of restraint and ferocity – a quality that Oswald also possesses.” Marcus Behrens for Salt Peanuts
Margaux Oswald - piano
Jesper Zeuthen - saxophone
