OTOOTO is the newest addition to Danish jazz in international class. Since the band was formed in 2019, they have garnered recognition from radio stations and reviewers and already in November 2020 they could look back on a year with countless concerts and three single releases.
The sound of OTOOTO is defined by Wallace and Due's lyrical and light melodies paired with a distinctive sound of the legendary vintage synthesizer Juno 60. Add a strong Neo-Soul/R&B groove and the framework is formed. The songs fill the listener with a feeling of hope and joy while the music unfolds in a harmonious and playful way.
The group is currently making new music to follow up on their 2nd album "Dosage" from June 2022 and the critically acclaimed debut record "This Love Is For You" From 2021. OTOOTO is a unique composition that presents five great personalities in Danish jazz in a way that has not been seen before.
Jonas Due (Trumpet)
Oily Wallace (Saxophone)
Calle Brickman (Keys)
Matthias Petri (Bass)
Andreas Svendsen (Drums)

For Danish composer Rumpistol, two huge driving forces behind his music are the search for beauty and the search for new sounds. These sonic and aesthetic curiosities, which can be firmly traced back to his self-titled 2003 debut, now considered a bit of an IDM classic, have taken him to many diverse fields of the electronic as well as the more acoustic landscape.
His releases as well as his live sets range from soft neo-classical piano pieces to spaced out bass-driven electronic music, often hard to categorize but always full of melody. Rumpistol has performed his detailed sound across the US, Europe, Mexico & Brazil including venues like Boom Festival, Tipper & Friends, Boiler Room UK and MUTEK Montreal.
Apart from producing under the name Rumpistol, he also creates scores for film, theater & contemporary dance and plays keys and produces for the Gilles Peterson approved Danish supergroup Kalaha. This night he will be joined by virtuous and renowned violinist Maria Jagd.

Album “Dosage” fra juni 2022 og den anmelderoste debutplade “This Love Is For You” Fra 2021.
