Feral Festival is back!
Prepare for 3 days of a sexy, punk, heartwarming, and political stage art explosion when Feral festival hits Copenhagen in week 42. With international shows ranging from experimental circus, performance art, installations, concerts, and vogue: Feral festival brings nightlife, culture and quirky underground together in an event as unusual as it is spectacular. Get you freak out when Muovipussi Noise juice make your soul cringe, in the best possible way -just in time to get ready for the Grande Ball.

🖤 What is ballroom? 🖤
The underground ballroom scene has it roots as far back as to the 1920 in Harlem, New York, and was created by the Black and Latin Trans women and Drags, as a new safe space due to racism they faced within the white pageant scene.
It evolved into many new categories and became not only a space for trans women of color to enjoy the safeties of community but of all queer people of color to create and express what was not allowed at the time to express in the public.
While the community is not as segregated as it used to be, we remind you that the space was created and are ruled by people of color, and we remind you that the underground ballroom scene will not accept any types of racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, body shaming or any types of discrimination.
Ballroom welcomes everyone and respects everyone, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, body, sex or status.
Ballroom is a place of love, unity, creativity and mutual respect.
If you are not a person of color and/or person of queer experience, we would like to reinstate that you are a guest within the ballroom community and should follow rules as everyone else.
Please be mindful of the space you take as a guest, and you will be welcomed with open arms.

Fairies are known to be dainty and sweet, but also vicious and strongheaded. In fashion there has long been a tradition of a mix of masculine and feminine, so tonight come in an outfit inspired by the fairies but remember to keep your walk masculine. Wings required!

Designer’s delight OTA – Tarot
There are tales of the first tarot cards in Italy back in the 1400s and the tradition is long and broad. Tonight, get inspired by one of the cards, both in look and theme, and don’t forget to bring your inspiration card.

Best dressed OTA – Planets
The planets around us are told to have a way of influence our lives. Also, our fashion. Tonight, come in a color palette of one of the planets in our solar system.

Bizarre OTA – Legendary creature
In many mythologies there are tales of legendary creatures, like the centaur or the aphisbaena. Tonight, take your pick of creature and give it your personal twist. Remember to make it fashion.

Vogue Fem OTA – Vølve
Vølven is in the Nordic mythology the most powerful witch there is. She is so powerful that even Odin has troubles fighting against her. She is known for her long wild hair – so come prepared to flip your wigs.

Old Way OTA – Mars
Mars is the God of War from the Roman Mythology. Strong and ready to fight. He is always depicted with a helmet. So tonight, come with some sort of headgear and a look ready to win the war.

New Way OTA – Poseidon
Poseidon is the Greek God of the Sea. Controlling the streams and life of the waters. Flexible like water and powerful like the waves. So tonight, come in an all-blue look and don’t forget your crown.

Hands vs Arms OTA – Sorcerer
The sorcerer is one of the most powerful potioneers and spellmakers there is. In modern day depiction. One of the most well-known sorcerers is Doctor Strange. So tonight, come in a red cape, and show us how you would put a spell on us.

Baby Vogue OTA – Trolls
Trolls have long been a part of the tales and myths of the Nordic countries. They can be big and scary or cute and silly. Tonight, come inspired by the trolls of the Dreamworks movie of the same name. (Baby voguers have to have walked balls for less than a year or less than three balls – all vogue categories applies)

Artemis is the Greek Goddess of wilderness, hunting, fertility, and the moon. She is told to have sworn of marriage and live independently. And she strikes down everyone who tries to rape her. Tonight, come in a look worthy of a strong independent Goddess.

Thor in the Nordic God of thunder and protector of humankind. He knew how to have a good time and party, and to get work done! Tonight, come in all black look, showing that you are ready to fight. Don’t forget your hammer!

Some nuns and monks are known as the Christian mystics of our day. Only showing their faces to the world, the amount of power they have in their prayer and belief is portrayed in their eyes.

Crystals have always been a part of healing and supporting humans through their lives. Quartz, amethyst, ruby you name it. Tonight, heal us and your body covered in crystals.

Freyja is the love Goddess in the Nordic Mythology and Dionysos is the Greek God of ecstasy and lust.
