Den Anden Side is thrilled to present to you: Kyiv Trance Mission. KTM is a trance focused collective with strong beliefs of a non-binary future and was founded in 2021 in Kyiv. The collective will take over the club for one night presenting three of their residents: OLHA, Tweeman and Dosaaf. Also, they have invited two of Den Anden Side’s residents: Neri J and Elias Gozal.

This night is a part of Den Anden Side’s smashing new concept “Sunday Funday” which is an extraordinary 22-hour party starting on the night after Saturday at our club, and continuing Sunday morning a few meters down the street at Pumpehuset, with a massive takeover daytime party by Seaworld Tekno Klub. You don’t want to miss this mad event!

More about the KTM artists:

OLHA is a Ukraine-born London-based DJ, performance & visual artist.
She is a co-founder of Kyiv-based event series, a platform for talent and community called DRIFT. She is also a resident of Kyiv Trance Mission parties.

Being an acute observer and perceiving the reality through narratives for alternative histories and possible scenarios of our futures, she is carefully arranging her sets, transforming them into catalysts for emotional elevation, euphoric exaltation and liberation.

Diving into the memories of hardcore rave mystery she soundtracks magnetic, fast paced and intense sexy fairytale magic blasting with emotions, melancholy, romance and subtle nostalgia. Her musical language is filled with sublime melodies, industrial loudness, hard & very raw magnetism and explosive, transcendental ripples, which liberate and invoke to soar.

TWEEMAN is a Ukrainian DJ, promoter and founder of queer rave VESELKA.He has been a key figure in the club life of Kyiv for more than ten years and is directly at the forefront of the development of the electronic scene in Ukraine.

His sets are very eclectic with an open-minded atmosphere and balancing between techno, acid, trance with a lot of old school stuff. But it always depends on the dance floor which he is feeling at the fingertips.

Despite of saturated life in Ukraine he also touring around European and Asian scenes. S.A. Tweeman was the guest of Anomalie (Berlin), Alphabet (Tel Aviv), Gallery (Tbilisi), Pergamon (Jerusalem), Poligraf (Yerevan), Vad Siden Af (Copenhagen) and HÖR radio (Berlin).

DOSAAF is the DJ alias of a queer artist and activist Gleb Kovalski who was born and raised in Belarus. Affection for noise and experimental genres alongside his passion for techno raves once led Dosaaf to his first performances at underground parties in abandoned military bunkers and vast Belarusian forests.

In 2020 Dossaf had to leave Belarus due to political persecution. He moved to Kyiv where tried to continue their artistic and musical work performing at such events as Drift, VESELKA, Vorozjba but after the start of the full-scale Russian military invasion of Ukraine he had to flee once again. Now Dosaaf is based in Berlin and working on a number of club and art projects mostly related to queer migrants and queer temporalities of the future.

Driven by emotions and instincts, Dosaaf sticks to dark, melancholic sound and covers the dance floor with a dense vibe where subtle hypnotic techno being refracted in broken, distorted textures becomes a mighty hurricane of cutting arpeggiated chords vibrating and pulsating to the beat of psychedelic hard trance and, at times, uncompromising hard-core.

We care about our guests' safety and their ability to express themselves free from judgment or unwanted attention.

Please be aware of the space and event you are entering, the space you are taking up, and how your presence will influence the vibe and the other guests.

We expect that everyone who wishes to enter Den Anden Side has knowledge about the event which is happening and has familiarised themselves with our house rules. We reserve the right to deny anyone entrance, and we prioritise queers, marginalised people. Please respect a no if you get rejected, and remember that it is not a personal attack on you! When we are close to full capacity, we always prioritise our regulars.

Our awareness team is present at the club every weekend. You can recognise them by their bright green shirts that say “AWARENESS”. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you feel uncomfortable for any reason. If you are unable to locate the awareness team, the other staff can call them for you.

Consent is the foundation of interaction in our space. Whether it’s conversation, dance, physical contact, consumption, or sexual activities — we expect everyone to ensure that it’s happening with consent. No means no.

We need you to be just as mindful of your own safety as you are of your fellow dancers.
If you feel unwell or you’re worried about another guest, don’t hesitate to contact our awareness team.

There is no shame in asking for help!

Be aware that we use flashing lights and loud sound, and that it can get hot and crowded inside the club. Unfortunately, the space is not accessible with a wheelchair. If you have a concern or questions about accessibility or facilities, please reach out to us in DM.

Protect your ears. Earplugs can be bought in the bar.

FEEDBACK

Den Anden Side is always in constant development, and your experiences at the club are important for us to be aware of so we can improve. We are not infallible, and neither is our club’s policy, staff, management, or events.

As a large nightclub, it's hard to keep track of everyone's experiences, but if we get a complaint via email, we will always take it seriously and act on it.

During the night, it is important that you get in touch with our awareness team if you experience anything uncomfortable, but we acknowledge that this approach is difficult in some cases. If you have any complaints afterward about how the situation was handled, or if you want to report an incident, please contact the management at awareness@denandenside.com

For general feedback about the club, you can reach us at contact@denandenside.com

We strive to always get back to you within 14 days, and if needed, go then go into further dialogue with the involved parties about how we can solve the issue or contribute with help or actions in other ways.
