This is your captain speaking. All souls born under The Water Signs should brace themselves for another adventure under the waves. Your horoscope of February 11 reads solar plexus pounding 909 kicks hammering right in your face like a steam hammer as the Seaworld crew is once again ready to draw the curtains for a mesmerizing moisturous maritime musical of slippery seafaring techno. Once again we are painting the Palads halls azure blue as we emerge our bodies in the gigantic underground wading pool formally known as Den Anden Side. Before we set sails, please take a minute to study this mouth-watering menu of tinnitus-tickling electronic dance music:

The swiss-born Berlin-based CHLÄR (he/him) is a true prodigal son in ultra fast funky techno with an overwhelming discography of notable releases on highly acclaimed record labels. Having yet not set foot on the Danish coast, we are head over heels about inviting this rising star aboard. His next release on Icelandic Nix Records is called “Dance Instructor EP”, and rest assured that Chlär will teach us how to wriggle our tail fins to some extra bouncy techno grooves.

MILO (she/her) is previously mostly known as a psytrance DJ, but lately she has been sailing into techno. Her upcoming DAS Radio podcast is one hour of frantic house chords and rambling percussion garnished with crispy vocal samples served on a bed of slapping basslines. We expect her to crack open a giant oyster of coral reef rockers & seabottom bangers when she takes over the rudder of the DAS booth.

EZY (he/him) has previously adorned a Seaworld lineup, and we are now inviting him back in the booth flanked by his usual partner in crime SHAM (she/her) who should be no stranger to any Copenhagen rave regular. We have assigned this dunking duo the closing duty, and we expect them to deliver bass and grooves so deep that Das Boot will feel like snorkel diving.

As so often before, the night is curated by our very own JOHANNES ASTRUP (he/him) who will set the course of the journey with seafood treats & paddleboard beats. As an original Seaworld Tekno Klub residential diskjocky, Johannes has seen enough aquatic adventures to make even James Cameron envious, and for this opening slot he has promised to deliver 120 minutes of 100% salsa and hardgroove - not for the faint of heart. DOOR SELECTION
Den Anden Side is queer at heart, and so are our values. Every night, we facilitate a safer space and place of belonging for marginalised people and the LGBTQIA+ community. If you are not part of these communities, please be extra mindful of how you take up space. We always balance the crowd to create the vibe we want, so we reserve the right to reject people at the door without explanation.

AWARENESS TEAM
Our awareness team is present at the club every weekend. You can recognise them by their shirts that say “SAFER SPACE”. They are professionals trained to deal with sensitive and urgent situations of any kind. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you feel uncomfortable for any reason. Your feeling of safety and well-being is our highest priority and no issue is too small for us to take seriously. If the experience is real to you, it is real to us.

CONSENT
Consent is the foundation of interaction in our space. Whether it’s conversation, dance, physical contact, consumption or sexual activities — we expect everyone to ensure that it’s happening with consent and respect for your own and others’ boundaries.

SUBSTANCES
If you cannot take care of yourself, you are making the space less safe. We need you to be just as mindful of your own safety as you are of your fellow dancers’. If you feel unwell or are worried about another guest, don’t hesitate to contact our awareness team.

NO PHOTOS AND NO PHONES
Den Anden Side is a place for freedom of expression without the all-seeing eye of social media. Therefore, photos and videos are not allowed inside our space. Please refrain from using your phone on the dance floor. We created the dance floor for dancing.

ACCESSIBILITY
Be aware that we use flashing lights and loud sound, and that it can get hot and crowded inside the club. Unfortunately, the space is not accessible with a wheelchair.

RESPECT FOR OUR SURROUNDINGS
Please show respect to the Palads building and the area around it. Do not leave any empty bottles or trash in the area or do any form of vandalism to the building or the surroundings. We also ask everyone not to hang around the area after the club closes, as we want to maintain a good relationship with the cinema and not disturb their guests.
