Zeitgeist: Gaze Interlocked @ Den Anden Side

As brighter days approaches and with spring around the corner, Zeitgeist invites you to embrace the shortage of darkness and gloomy hours of the night.

This time moving to the narrow halls and dim spaces underneath Palads, at the dazzling Den Anden Side, allowing to double the dance floor experience with two international acts as well as a strong local lineup of DJs, artists and performers.

To sync with your springtime heartbeat, we have invited two overseas artists, both having their Copenhagen debut.
We are proud to present 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗟 (HU), a trailblazer in the electronic music realm from Hungary, is renowned for her electrifying, synth-laden performances. Her music, a fusion of fast rhythms and deep, driving beats, creates a high-energy, immersive experience.

Merging a compilation of identities weaved together in a genre-bending landscape, we’re proud to present 𝗔𝗥𝗧É𝗠𝗜𝗦 (RO/NL). Originally hailing from Romania, Rotterdam-based ARTÉMIS blends enchanting rhythms and erotic sounds, from global bass to intimate beats, frenetic percussions, and fast-paced house.

We have invited our beloved and talented 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗼 who is creating sets characterized by hypnotic, pulsating rhythms, groovy basslines, and a profound sense of progression to make the dancefloor boiling from start to finish.

For our final act at the main stage you will experience the first ever b2b between 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗶 and 𝗗𝗝 𝟮𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘 taking you on a fast paced journey of dark techno, trance and eerie synth hooks.

At Den Anden Ende 𝗚𝗮𝘃𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗴 will be taking good care of you providing deep and driving percussive sounds and dubstep. She bobs & weaves between genres to cook up unexpected blends.

Lastly, we will treat you with the iconic b2b between 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮, who encompasses high-energy rhythms blending contemporary club music over north-kurdish timbres, and 𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗢 𝗛𝗬𝗗𝗥𝟴 who blends elements of progressive techno, bass-dropdriven hyperdance, and everything in between.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 / 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
This evening is interlocked with a set of interactive art installations as well as a dance performance that will bring the room together. More details of this will follow <3 We hope to explore how the inward and outward gaze come together as we dance and share the first ever Zeitgeist night at Den Anden Side.

DOOR POLICY
We expect everyone who enters Den Anden Side to be familiar with the night event and our policy. We reserve the right to deny anyone entrance without explanation, and we prioritise queers and other minorised people. When we are close to full capacity, we always prioritise our regulars.
We acknowledge that for some, the selection in the door can be stressful, and for some the entrance price can be a big expense. It is always possible to reach out to us at guestlist@denandenside.com in advance of an event if the door or entrance situation is in any way an issue for you. Please include your name(s) and a few words about your situation, and we will try to accommodate your needs in the best way possible.

CODE OF CONDUCT
- Feel the room and consider how you influence it.
- Don't assume gender or pronouns.
- No discriminatory language or actions of any kind.

- No pictures or videos of any kind inside the club.‍
- Dancefloor is for dancing; Don’t have loud conversations or use your phones.
- Ask for consent and respect each other’s boundaries.
- Don’t stare at or approach other guests non-consensually.
- Take care of yourself and each other, and consume responsibly.
- The darkroom is for intimate and consensual play only.

VIBE VISION
We care about our guests' safety and their ability to express themselves free from judgment or unwanted attention. Please be aware of the space and event you are entering, the space you are taking up, and how your presence will influence the vibe and the other guests. All we ask is that you respect your fellow dancer and contribute to the party!

AWARENESS
Our awareness team is present at the club every weekend. You can recognise them by their bright green shirts that say “AWARENESS”. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you feel uncomfortable for any reason. If you are unable to locate the awareness team, the other staff can call them for you.

ACCESSIBILITY AND CARE
Protect your ears. Earplugs can be bought in the bar.
First aid supplies can be found in the bar or by contacting our awareness team.
Be aware that we use flashing lights and loud sound, and that it can get hot and crowded inside the club. Unfortunately, the space is not accessible with a wheelchair. If you have any concerns or questions about the venue, the facilities or have a special need that you would like to discuss with us.
