After four years in our basement labyrinth Ved Siden Af, we have finally found a location that makes room for our aspirations and needs as both an internationally-recognised and community-focused nightclub. And this place is not like most other places. It comes with some pretty iconic history: it housed the legendary 'Daddy's Dancehall' nightclub throughout the 70s, 80s and early 90s — where artists like Iggy Pop and The Sex Pistols brought all kinds of mayhem to its stage. Now, it’s time for a new era for this location. We’re opening the doors to our new nightclub: Den Anden Side.
Just underneath the colourful 'Palads' cinema, our own separate entrance leads the way to Den Anden Side (which means ‘The Other Side’ in English). You can expect 666m2 of community, creativity, queerness, hedonism and inclusivity — which will also be core values for the new space. With a big square dancefloor, 4 point Funktion One sound, sexy lounge and more, we are confident that we’ll be able to host world-class club nights for the years to come. Last but not least, Den Anden Side will serve as a worthy home for the Copenhagen electronic music scene and fill the big shoes of Et Andet Sted, Ved Siden Af and Daddy's Dancehall.
Join us to turn Den Anden Side into the underground nightclub that Copenhagen wants and needs.
We'll serve u a buffet consisting of a first class line up who'll welcome you into the new space: Den Anden Side!
