AIDA is an Iranian/Canadian artist who recently co-founded Apranik Records. The first release entitled "WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM" features Iranian women artists dedicated to the uprising. A project that has rightly been covered extensively via RA, Crack Magazine and Billboard. Shows at Panorama Bar, Robert Johnson, DC10 and now Culture Box, things are deservedly kicking off around her. We have Rïa Mehta opening in Black Box. An Indian-Sri Lankan Producer and DJ living in Brooklyn, NY bringing her deep and melodic sounds from around the world and releasing on Desert Hearts Black, Modern Agenda and more. Finally, an artist with the greatest of motivation to spread awareness on minority Kurdish women in Iran, AZADÎ is on closing duty in Black Box. Red Box is hosted by four DJs including Wille, Abeba, Benster and Enterthevoigt sharing their musical passion.
