Escho præsenterer: Rune Kielsgaard duos & trios + iB101

Escho præsenterer en dobbeltkoncert med trommeslager og komponist Rune Kielsgaard og kunstner og sangskriver iB101.

Rune Kielsgaard er en ikonisk figur på den danske trommescene indenfor alt fra improvisation og avantgarde til pop og eksperimenterende postproduktion. Denne aften præsenterer han for første gang en samling af sine duo- og trio opsætninger i et stort værk: 2 timers flydende impro forløb med punktlige afbrydelser og lange stræk. Line-up tæller Niels Kristian Eriksen (guitar), Nis Bysted (guitar), Agnete Hannibal (cello), Sofie Westh (cello), Tettix Hexer (gamer), Troels Damgaard (guitar), Wiseflow (Søren Buschmann og Gustav Berntsen), Jesper Zeuthen (sax) og Rune Kielsgaard.

iB101 aka irrelevantbitch101 er det legesyge og ligefremme alias for Martin Tangsgaard. Med kompromisløse tekster over lo-fi pop-produktioner og soulede harmoniseringer er iB101 en helt unik sangskriver og performer, der formår at blande inspiration fra Nicki Minaj, The Emotions, Shania Twain og Prince i en og samme vending. Debutpladen "Persona Non Grata" fra 2020 blev beskrevet som et album der byder på både dans og glimt i øjet, og denne aften medbringer han nyt materiale, der kan få selv fædrene i bilerne til at bobbe med.

Escho presents a double concert night with drummer and composer Rune Kielsgaard and artist and songwriter iB101.

Rune Kielsgaard is an iconic figure on the Danish drum scene, spanning from improvisation and avantgarde to pop and experimental postproduction. This night he will present for the first time a collection of his duo and trio set-ups in one big piece: 2 hours of fluid improvisation with punctual interruptions and long runs. Line-up is Niels Kristian Eriksen (guitar), Nis Bysted (guitar), Agnete Hannibal (cello), Sofie Westh (cello), Tettix Hexer (gamer), Troels Damgaard (guitar), Wiseflow (Søren Buschmann og Gustav Berntsen), Jesper Zeuthen (sax) and Rune Kielsgaard.

iB101 aka irrelevantbitch101 is the outspoken, tongue-in-cheek and winsome solo project by Martin Tangsgaard. With unapologetically blunt lyrics backed by lo-fi pop soundscapes and souled out harmonies, iB101 is a unique songwriter and perfomer, who succeeds in mixing inspiration from both Nicki Minaj, The Emotions, Shania Twain and Prince in the same breath. His debut album "Persona Non Grata" from 2020 was highlighted as music dance music with a wink, and this night he will bring new material that can make even the dads in the cars bob along.
