Meet two of the foremost art and architecture collectives, German Raumlabor and French
Collectif Etc, for a discussion about place, local networks and methods.
Here is really a good opportunity for everyone who works site-specifically and in dialogue with local communities. At this mini-seminar and associated workshop, partners from the Raumlabor and Collectif Etc design studios share experiences and discuss methods in relation to work close to local contexts and social networks. How are people involved, how local resources are used, how needs are identified and how
tailor-made solutions, etc.?
First, there will be talks with the two design studios and then workshop and open dialogue. The conversation is moderated by researchers from KU Landskab and there will be examples of student work from the Urban Intervention course Studio, University of Copenhagen. The event marks the start of a longer site-specific event collaboration with Raumlabor, Collectif Etc, CAFx and a number of partners in Copenhagen.
Participants: Architect and partner in Raumlabor, Axel Timm, architect and partner in Collectif Etc, Lukas Hamilcaro, researchers and landscape architects, Landscape architecture and Planning, KU, Bettina Lamm&Anne Wagner, student from Urban Intervention Studio KU, Area renewal Copenhagen Municipality.
The event is a collaboration with Goethe-Institut Dänemark, l’Institut Francais, Area renewal, Copenhagen Municipality, University of Copenhagen and The German-French Cultural Foundation
