MOSKITOO (SANAE YAMASAKI)
FOURCOLOR A.K.A. KEIICHI SUGIMOTO
Momose Yasunaga har udgivet albummerne 'Body In Ether' og 'Listen in a Cool Room' på
PURRE GOOHN.
Hun arbejder med både musik og kunst og har bl.a. optrådt på Tokyo Festival of Modular, Kansai Festival of Modular, Japanese Music Festival Harukaze, Okayama Triennale, Nerima Art Museum og DOMMUNE.
MADS KINNERUP

MOSKITOO (SANAE YAMASAKI)
Moskitoo is a sound artist and singer based in Tokyo. She was born in Tokyo and raised in Sapporo, she made her solo debut in 2007 with the album DRAPE, released on the NY-based label 12k founded by Taylor Deupree. Since then, she has collaborated and worked with many musicians, including FilFla. Moskitoo's music continues to explore new relationships between sound, music, and voice. Her work starts with her own voice as the foundation and weaves in various instruments, including guitar and toy glockenspiel, along with everyday sounds, non-instrumental noises, and accidental elements. Through improvisation and unexpected sounds, she navigates the space between sound and silence, tracing the contours of unseen worlds. With an acute sensitivity to the subtle phenomena created by the textures and spatiality of sound, she handles every aspect of her creative process including design, to craft her unique world. She has toured across Europe, North America, Canada, and Australia, performing at diverse events in Denmark, Korea, and beyond. In addition to her live performances, she has contributed sound design for video works, short films, and vocals for TV commercials and corporate sound logos.
In October 2024, Moskitoo released her latest album Unspoken Poetry on the Japanese HEADZ/WEATHER label.
FOURCOLOR A.K.A. KEIICHI SUGIMOTO
Keiichi Sugimoto is an artist and composer from Japan. He plays in several sound projects such as FourColor, FilFla, Minamo and Fonica. His compositions have been released from record labels throughout the world such as 12K (US), apestaartje (US), TOM LAB (Germany), and HEADZ (Japan). As FourColor, his album "Water Mirror" was chosen among the best electronica albums in the THE WIRE magazine (UK). He has also toured extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
Artist statement: It is not too difficult to appreciate the melodies of the piano. We have all been familiar with for such a long time, and to notice it as "beautiful". But when you hold piano strings inside of a piano, wrapped around each other, it makes a dull, dim sound, and you realize a different appeal that is separated from the way it originally sounds. My music is a quest in search of these new, unique, and funny sounds underneath, that would attract listeners, not only to perceive beautiful sounds as beautiful, but by layering each of the sounds delicately, it would form original subtleness and textures. By composing them together precisely, they are transformed into "music": Harmonies and dis-harmonies, vagueness and clearness, digital and analog, necessity and accidents. My aim is to deal with these opposite factors on the same level to create a unique music.
MOMOSE YASUNAGA

In addition to her solo activities, she also participates in various units as a vocalist.
Momose Yasunaga has released following albums "Body In Ether" and "Listen in a Cool Room" on PURRE GOOHN.

MADS KINNERUP
Mads Kinnerup is a Danish artist, musician and music producer. With a background in electronic experimental music and IDM, he is interested in pushing the boundaries of how music can be performed and produced in new original ways. Kinnerup's music is performed live using modular synthesizer systems and self-developed software systems, creating music that is minimal, simple and repetitive in terms of melody, yet complex in timbre.
His self-released debut album Parademons from 2019 features Warp-ish style ambient universes and vintage drum machine sounds. His second album Heart 1993 from 2022 released on the Danish label Janushoved is an atmospherical instrumental release playing with memories of childhood sounds, mangled and deconstructed.
On his third album Interpolation from December 2022, Kinnerup presents new rhythm basedIDM music.
