SOUNDBOKS Amplifies: 100Blaa

SOUNDBOKS Amplifies is back! On June 9th, our spotlight is on the Copenhagen-based record label, 100Blaa, who is housing the new generation of artists to watch. We are so excited to invite you and your friends out for a chill Thursday evening of music, drinks, and good vibes.

SOUNDBOKS Amplifies is a community-driven platform on a mission for the next generations of artists, creators, activists and leaders to rise above the crowd and break through the noise.

On this occasion, Soundboks Amplifies is proud to present concerts from three talented artists represented by 100Blaa:

Karl Meyer:
Karl Meyer made his entrance on the Danish music scene as the frontman of Glød. He got his solo debut in 2020 with the single, ‘Let’s Run Sugar’. In 2021 Karl released his debut album, ‘Green or White’ which is a complete multimedia project that also consist of the mini-documentary Trosalandet: En berättelse om Karl Meyer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaTwaHEz18o)

Sortblod:
Diving into an universe of ambience and all the various aspects of emotion, Sortblod is showering us with untraditional coming-of-age tales spoken through the glittering sounds of guitar compositions. This year, Sortblod has released his debut album, ’Født Under En Himmel Du Er Forelsket I’.

Sofie Czajkowska:
Debut singer Sofie Czajkowska writes honest, simple songs about youth, love and the many thoughts involved. The recipe for her songs is a confident vocal on top of r’n’b beats and heavy bass. Sofie has so far only released a live session and focus on writing songs and developing her style.

The event will take place at Rådmandsgade 52 from 17.00-20.00 in the backyard of an artist workspace. There will be free drinks from Maté Maté and no entrance fee. All you have to do is sign up here: https://soundboksx100blaa.splashthat.com/
