Hangaren 2nd edition of Academeia nights has affiliates and favorites come together in the famous hangar.
After JASSS (Ostgut Ton) & CEM (Herrensauna) gave us a sweaty B2B all night long in the old basement of VSA, Silvia comes back with us as strong as she left.
Ever since the LP’s release on the revered experimental label iDEAL and Ostgut Ton, she’s made regular appearances at clubs like Berghain, Amsterdam’s De School and Bassiani in Tbilisi and performed at festivals like MUTEK Montreal, Sónar and Primavera. She’s supplemented her work as a DJ and live musician by serving as an artist-in-residence at EMS in Stockholm (2017), Galeria Zé dos Bois in Lisbon (2018) and the 2019 edition of the Berlin-Rom Express, a recording artist residency at Villa Massimo curated by Carsten Nicolai (AKA Alva Noto).

Hangaren at Refshalevej 185 is an old hangar construction turned into a nightclub for electronic music and event space. Hangaren is located at a secluded green spot on Refshaleøen in central Copenhagen.
We are here to present the city's vibrant electronic music scene.
You will be treated with a heavy soundsystem by Funktion-One.
There is a cosy courtyard with chill-out possibility, a bonfire, big sky scenery from where you can watch the sunset, the stars and the sunrise. The bar serves organic beers, drinks at fair prices.
Our main purpose is to serve as a platform and inspiration for the cultural scene in Copenhagen.
