SPHERICAL ABERRATION

Spherical Aberration is the AV project of Ioana Bilea, a visual artist and producer from Transylvania, currently based between Berlin and Copenhagen.

Ioana creates ambient textural layers and dark drones with eerie vocals or soft pads to blend with the flowing visual world. A lot of the sounds come from recordings taken in various natural landscapes or spaces with unique sounds such as Orthodox monasteries and caves. The music and visuals coexist and evolve together in a generative AV dialogue.

VINCENT YUEN RUIZ

Vincent Yuen Ruiz is a Swiss musician, composer and improviser living in Copenhagen. He will present a solo keyboard composition. Slow, meditative and enveloping: this work is a quiet statement that allows the listener to swim into resonances and find refuge into a sea of colourful sounds. The minimalism in the music pushes to a closer listen, close enough to feel as if diving into the depths of the instruments where each note reveals a whole universe.

PAPE ARCE

Pape Arce is a sound artist and Tonemeister based in Copenhagen. With roots from Mexico and Colombia, Pape explore themes of immigrant identity, kindness and community as revolutionary forms of healing.
He collaborated with local ensembles and musicians such as Pauline Hogstrand, Johan Carøe, PJ Jacob Fossun, Judith Parts, Susana Nunes and Mikkel Isak Antilla.
His debut Album, “The long walk to Forever” will debut on the local label No Technique the 22nd of October.
