The future of club culture in Copenhagen is challenged by the city's current property development. Restrictions due to noise complaints and a general lack of city plans that incorporate nightlife pose a serious challenge to the local electronic music scene. This is an increase in commercialisation, which unfortunately threatens the club scene's status as a free space for several of the city's marginalized groups.
In this panel discussion, we take a closer look at possible long-term solutions to this situation. So come by and contribute your opinion to the debate on which strategies Copenhagen Municipality can implement to preserve the club premises and secure the future of the city's burgeoning electronic music scene.
