Light Asylum:
LIGHT ASYLUM is the internationally revered techno-punk music project of vocalist, producer Shannon Funchess founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2007. Captivating audiences with cathartic performances, LIGHT ASYLUM emerged in 2009 at the forefront of a movement turned full blown revival of late 70’s to 90’s electronic music inspired by pioneers of Detroit techno, Belgian new beat, EBM, gothic rock, Chicago house, new wave and synth pop. Autumn of 2011 would herald a new gothic club anthem “Dark Allies” with Funchess emoting eternal life in her signature contralto singing, “Forever...and ever” on the debut ‘In Tension’ EP (Mexican Summer/Kemado Records). A debut full length S/T LP released the following spring aided in igniting the dark wave genre that coincided with the cold wave revival in NYC’s underground music scene. Funchess carried the torch above ground to iconic venues Radio City Music Hall, Koko, The Sydney Opera House, Moulin Rouge and Berghain. Summer 2025 will mark the first release of LIGHT ASYLUM since 2012.

Mortuary Wave straight out of the gravesoil of Lahore, Pakistan. Mascara always brings drama to the disco - heartbreaking, piercing music will grace the speakers with rhythms of Tanz Torture à la carte!!
The sound is EBM influenced Synthpunk and DarkWave with masochistic beats.
Theatrical vocals inspired by Islamic prayers intertwine with Black Metal shouts and are juxtaposed by cold, minimalistic chants that remind listeners of DDR Berlin‘s underground scene.
“She Cant Afford Mascara” was born out of a need of south asian representation for the Underground goth scene in Europe. The artist Adam Shazard behind the solo
projekt started working as a clubkid in the gay nightlife scene at 14 Without any money and a non supporting muslim family, they would have to steal cosmetics.
In order to express them self and forfill the lifestyle they wished to become.
And therefore the name “She Cant Afford Mascara” came.

God Tongue:
Seattle-based duo God Tongue, comprised of Isku and Camille, forge a distinct sound they call Acid Body Wave—a fusion of EBM, acid-driven rhythms, and minimal wave textures. Their music is sculpted on an array of hardware synths, including the OB6, Bass Station, Sequential Drum Trax, and Synthstrom Deluge. Together they unleash a seductive storm of raw, late-night dance floor energy. God Tongue kicks off their debut LP with the release of the first single, Delete It, arriving ahead of the full album set to drop this fall in tandem with their upcoming EU tour. Written by vocalist Camille, the lyrics offer a commentary on the fleeting highs and emotional impermanence shaped by social media.
