Meli Records presents solo sets by Barbara Hildebrandt Mathiesen from the adventurous roots band Bahima a Spanish-Canadian songwriter David Escudero aka Pilun and a mini-set by the young and talented songwriter Vilma Krage aka Vilje.

Barbara Mathiesen will play an acoustic solo-set with music from her project Bahima, that explores adventurous and atmospheric music with elements of eastern as well as western music cultures. The music welcomes you into a mysterious universe which consists of colourful Danish lyrics mixed with odd time signatures and experimental harmonics played on piano and guitar.

David Escudero King is a Spanish-Canadian singer-songwriter who goes by the artist name Pilun. With the backdrop of a finger-picked guitar, he sings about childhood, growing up, learning and coming to terms with oneself, and the connections we build and keep with those close to us.

The young artist and songwriter Vilma Krage aka Vilje will also be playing a small acoustic set.
Through her music and lyrics she tells her harsh story and sings rawly and honest about abuse, anxiety and discomfort, but also about overcoming these things. Her songs are imbued with a sincere, present vulnerability, where she both gives the uncomfortable space but never gives up on hope.
