WE ARE BACK!! WE A GOT A NICE SPACE IN NORDVEST: LURENDREJEREN.
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ข is a club night that pays homage to the driving force of the Chicago house movement that set the tone of the house music we all love today. During the prominent era of Chicago house, many BIPOC producers shaped house music through their communities and it was exposed in clubs that gave space to marginalized people of all genders, race and sexuality, thus also sparking the club culture we know today! We want to celebrate the all time great Chicago house era!

Bringing international names such as Bloody Mary, PartiBoi69, Paramida or Sally C to name a few. Record collector, Harrison always brings his House knowledge to the booth.
The other figure behind Chicago is ๐ข๐๐ข๐จ๐ฅ๐จ. Parisian dedicated music selector based in Copenhagen for some years. Okouru plays very divers range of sounds and like to take the crowd in different directions. 1/3 of the fairly new ClubSoda collective which combines visuals and music. The core values of safer space at Lurendrejeren are "No boxes, no bullshit" - meaning a non-judgemental space where everybody is equal. No matter who you are or what "status" you have you will be treated completely the same.
The original and more proactive term or ideology of rave culture PLUR - peace, love, unity, respect - can be dated back to the early nineties where dj Frankie Bones coined it - and can be compared to what most call safer space today. That also meant:
No racism, no sexism, no transphobia, no homophobia, no ageism, no ableism, no lookism and please don't assume pronouns.
If you experience anything of the above please reach out to the staff. If you are in doubt about a situation also reach out.
No picking in the door - first come, first served. Unless you have not heard about PLUR/safer space and are not sober enough to receive about it.
