Rolling Stone rammer hovedet på sømmet, når de kalder Larie et pop-kærtegn. Larie er en musiker, der blander brasilianske poprytmer, elektronisk musik og mere eksperimenterende kompositioner. Med over 4 millioner afspilninger på Spotify har deres album "Voa" (2016) været springbræt til en international karriere. Larie er blevet sammenlignet med eminente sangskrivere som Bon Iver og Camille og har optrådt i 22 lande verden over. De gæstede Union til sidste års Vinterjazz i selskab med portugisiske Fado Bicha. Til Copenhagen Jazz Festival vender Larie tilbage og omfavner Union med sit eget intime soloprojekt.
Koncerten præsenteres i samarbejde med Portugals Ambassade og Instituto Camões.

I Union inviterer vi til en række eklektiske koncerter, som på hver deres måde afsøger jazzens grænseområder. Du skal med andre ord ikke forvente dig traditionel jazz, men derimod en rejse ned til jazzens globale rødder.

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Larie is one of the foremost exponents of new Brazilian contemporary music.
Rolling Stone is right when they call Larie a "pop caress". Larie is a musician who mixes Brazilian pop rhythms, electronic music and more experimental compositions. With over 4 million plays on Spotify, their album "Voa" (2016) has been a springboard to an international career. Larie has been compared to eminent songwriters such as Bon Iver and Camille and has performed in 22 countries. They visited Union at last year's Vinterjazz in the company of Portuguese Fado Bicha. At the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Larie returns and embraces Union with his own intimate solo project.
Larie is presented in collaboration with The Embassy of Portugal and Instituto Camões.

In Union, we invite you to enjoy a series of exciting eclectic concerts, which explore the borderlands of jazz. In other words, you should not expect traditional jazz, but rather a journey to the global roots of jazz.
