DAS 4 EVER (Den Anden Side's 4 Year Birthday Party) @ Den Anden Side

Saturday, November 7 │ Normal Selection │ Techno, House
————

4 years in the basement. 4 years of dance and bliss, rave and joy. 4 years of sexy chaos and sweaty magic. 4 years of being gently sucked into the intimate darkness with your fellow ravers. 4 years of never-ending toilet queues. 4 years of the most caring community on the planet. 4 years of no phones on the dancefloor. 4 years of Toilet Water. 4 years of the cleaning lights being turned on during the last song, revealing a room full of smiling faces that aren’t ready to go home. It already feels like it’s been 4 ever.

Back in 2022, we opened the doors to our new club for the very first time, completely unprepared for the madhouse we had just unlocked. The years have rolled by, and we’re still trying to grasp the magnitude of this amazing mess we’re collectively creating every weekend.

Our original contract was limited to 2 years, but we’ve already been here twice as long, and we’re still going wild. We’re often asked how much time we have left. The truth is, we have absolutely no idea. We hope it’s gonna be 4 ever.

On our 4th nameday, we invite you to join us for yet another trip. We’ve baked a massive dancefloor birthday cake, crowned by the fast-rising hypnotic and percussive techno powerhouse ABS8LUTE. Also on the lineup is a trio of iconic Copenhagen legends: Schacke, Anastasia Kristensen, and Kasper Marott. Kasper has invited a B2B partner in the form of Berlin-based Audrey Danza, who should be a stranger to no one in this city.

As an extra goodie, we’re opening the floor with a live concert from Wedding. A marriage between club and concert, Wedding’s post-club textures meet immersive live energy, creating transcendent moments suspended between the dancefloor and the band.

We open the doors at 21:30 with an old-school Confession Bar™. Your hosts, Dennis DAFG and Johanne Sastrup, will entertain the guests with a fun and exciting DAS Quiz, while DJ Pastries warms up the room with some loungy vibes. Later, Dennis and Johanne will also play some house and sassy grooves on the small dancefloor, accompanied by a new and enigmatic DJ going by the mysterious moniker Sunstrip Backstage.

We hope you’ll join us for this night of celebrating our very loud birthday child. And to all the sweet souls who have joined us on this ride so far: our friendship will last 4 ever!
