Fernisering / Opening: Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2022

Med stor fornøjelse inviterer Charlottenborg Fonden og Kunsthal Charlottenborg til fernisering på Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2022, når vi endnu en gang slår dørene op til én af de vigtigste åbne, censurerede udstillinger i Europa siden 1857. Ferniseringen finder sted:

Lørdag den 5. februar kl. 12-17
Entréen er gratis og alle er velkomne!

DJ Malika Mahmoud sørger for musik 13-16, Tuborg og 1664 Blanc har sponsoreret øl til de første 300 gæster og Apollo sælger andre drikkevarer.

Velkomsttale kl. 12.15 ved John Kørner, forperson af Charlottenborg Fondens bestyrelse. Efterfulgt af åbningstale på vegne af årets jury ved Hesselholdt & Mejlvang, hvor årets vindere af Soloprisen i samarbejde med Politikens Forhal, Deep Forest Art Land Prisen og Talentprisen også afsløres.

Den fysiske censurrunde blev genindført i 2021 og afholdes den 25.-26. januar 2022. Herefter vil vi glæde os til at dele listen over årets deltagende kunstnere med jer.

Årets jury består i 2022 af billedkunstner David Risley, arkitekt Peter Bertram, tekstilkunstner Grethe Wittrock, billedkunstner Sophie Suaning og kunstnerduoen Hesselholdt & Mejlvang, der også kuraterer årets udstilling. Med deres kunstfaglige praksis og baggrund samt internationale erfaring har de ikke blot udvalgt årets værker til Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2022, men også nomineret fem deltagere til årets Solopris samt udvalgt en vinder af årets Solopris, Deep Forest Art Land Pris og Talentpris, der offentliggøres på åbningsaftenen.

Talkprogram:
I forbindelse med Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2022 kan publikum møde nogle af de deltagende kunstnere og høre mere om deres kunstneriske praksis onsdag d. 9. februar kl. 17-19.
Derudover vil der være mulighed for at se udvalgte videoværker i Kunsthal Charlottenborgs biograf onsdag d. 16. februar fra kl. 17-20.
Der vil også arrangeres enkelte rundvisninger i Charlottenborg Forårsudstilling 2022.

It is with great pleasure that the Charlottenborg Foundation and Kunsthal Charlottenborg invite to the opening of the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2022, one of the most important open, censored exhibitions in Europe since 1857. The opening will take place on:

Saturday 5 February at 12-17
Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

Welcome speech at 12.15 by John Kørner, Chairman of the Board at the Charlottenborg Foundation. Following, opening speech on behalf of this year's jury by Hesselholdt & Mejlvang, where this year's winners of the Solo Award in collaboration with Politikens Forhal, Deep Forest Art Land Award and the Talent Award is also announced.

When the third, and final round of physical censoring has taken place 25 - 26 January 2022, we look forward to sharing the list of participating artists with you.

The 2022 jury consists of visual artist David Risley, architect Peter Bertram, textile artist Grethe Wittrock, visual artist Sophie Suaning and the artist duo Hesselholdt & Mejlvang that also curates this year’s exhibition. With their artistic practice and background as well as their international experience the jury has not only selected the works for the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2022 but also nominated the artists to this year’s Solo Award and elected the winners of the Solo Award, Deep Art Land Award and the Talent Award, where the winners are announced at the opening night.

Talk programme:
In connection to the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2022 visitors can meet some of the participating artists and hear about their artistic practice on Wednesday 9 February 17-19.
There will also be the possibility to view select videoworks in Kunsthal Charlottenborg’s cinema on Wednesday 16 February from 5-20 pm.
There will also be arranged two guided tours in the exhibition.
