Welcome to Journey into Sound Festival 2022 : 3 days of immersion into sound in the spectacularly amazing surroundings of Brønshøj Vandtårn.
This will be a journey where we will explore different sounds with different intentions - from meditative & ceremonial to colorfully creative & adventurous expressions.
There will be Concerts, Gong Baths, and Cacao Ceremony.

GONG BATH
Gong Bath with Ylenia Fiorini is 90 minutes of pure relaxation accompanied by the sounds of gong, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and percussions such as shakers, rattles, and rainsticks. During the session, you will relax while experiencing the beautiful sounds of the instruments washing over you.
Please take your own yoga mat and blanket, as unfortunately there won't be any available at the venue.

SACRED VOICES & SOUND CEREMONY - A tribute to the feminine
A meditative experience into the beautiful voices of the Icelandic women’s choir and the soothing sound of the flute enhanced by the vibration of the gong.
90 minute journey to enjoy while sitting or lying down in the spectacular surroundings of Bronshøj water tower.

CACAO, GONG & SACRED MUSIC CEREMONY
Sound and Cacao work hand in hand to deepen your awareness, intuition, and connection to the subconscious realms. Cacao amplifies the effect from the gong and vice versa, these medicines really work beautifully together.
We will serve the cacao so that it will be with you as we go through the contemplation practice and you can gently zip as it feels appropriate – you will know. You will get to experience the presence and warmth of the cacao in the body. You will then lie down to be bathed in relaxing, therapeutic vibrations from the gong and other shamanic instruments as the cacao does her healing work and you take an inner voyage with the gong as your guide.

SOUNDING SOCIETY
Sounding Society is an improvising quintet born out of a 3-years long Artistic Research project undertaken during Tomo Jacobson's Advanced Post-Graduate program in Artistic Research at the Rytmisk Musikkonservatoriet in Copenhagen.
It consists of three acclaimed improvisers Rasmus Kjaer (Tourist, Klimaforandringer, BISSE), Szymon Gasiorek (Pimpono Ensemble, E/I, Czajka & Puchacz), Tomo Jacobson (Sun Araw, Mat Maneri, Mount Meander), as well as a Danish-Indian sitar and guitar player Vicky Singh (best known for co-founding a Danish hip-hop music group Outlandish), and an Italian healer and Gong Master Ylenia Fiorini.
Tomo's research was about marrying sounds of traditional world musics from many different cultures, including traditional Moroccan Gnawa music, Indian Ragas, far Asian percussion music, Armenian funeral music, and others, with electronics, improvisation, ambient, and pop-rock, and at the same time creating an immersive experience for the audience, that reaches far beyond a typical concert.

LOTS OF DOUBLE BASSES
Lots of Double Basses is an improvising double bass orchestra gathered together by Tomo Jacobson. This unpredictable band is never the same, as every concert the size of it and its members change. It is bodily, low and high, drony and not, hive-like. Frankly, we don't know what it is because it's never the same, but one thing for sure - you'll experience Lots of Double Basses.
